Thoughtfully designed for relaxation and indulgence, our Havens bring the wonder of the outdoors in. From sprawling front porches and back patios to picture windows, peaceful nooks and signature experiences found only at Waybound, your one- or two-bedroom Haven will offer upscale finishes, high-end amenities — and the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

Envisioned as an outdoor destination without pretention or judgment, the Waybound experience prioritizes connection in every sense. Beyond avenues for enjoying the outdoors, you’ll find your Haven equipped with powerful Wi-Fi and plenty of TVs, so that you can connect with the world around you in every way that matters.

Within every Haven, you’ll find signature Waybound moments, custom designed with you in mind. A Waybound Cocktail Chest contains the tools and essentials for making a great mocktail or cocktail. Whether you prefer spirit-free libations or choose to purchase a select bottle from our General Store, located just steps away at The Commons, your Waybound Cocktail Chest will offer the perfect excuse to slow down, sit back and stir up something special.

All Havens also feature a customized Waybound Spa Box, designed to inspire you to unwind and indulge. Here, you’ll discover a curated selection of spa-inspired favorites, all hand-selected and available for purchase. It’s our way of bringing a spa experience right to your door.

When you’re ready, step outside with high-quality gear that fuels your exploration. Powerful binoculars, simple walking sticks and a flashlight fit for nighttime adventures are provided for your complementary use. The beauty of the outdoors is waiting: Enjoy easy hikes on our on-campus walking paths, or venture just minutes away to Yosemite National Park. Tours of Yosemite are available through Tenaya at Yosemite, located next door to Waybound.

The Commons: Full-service food, drinks and amenities

Open 24 hours a day and seven days a week, The Commons is the beating heart of Waybound. Thoughtfully designed for your care and convenience, The Commons is full of signature moments, touchpoints and amenities, all to reinforce our promise of a hospitality-first outdoor lifestyle experience.

Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a Waybound welcome: fresh lemonade and a house-made cookie to say “we’re happy you’re here” in more than words. Just inside The Commons, discover Plates + Pours, a full-service bar and restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, plus a barista-attended Coffee Counter and a General Store where grab-and-go meals and essentials are available around the clock.

Just outside The Commons, a resort-style swimming pool and hot tub sit within a pool deck featuring abundant shade and comfortable seating — equally fitting for a full day of lounging or a post-adventure plunge. A QR code-enabled specialty menu with poolside delivery allows you to order food and drinks from the comfort of your seat.

Adjacent to the pool, lively firepits set a convivial mood. In the evenings, as dusk settles in, a complementary s’mores bar will offer a sweet parlay to a memorable experience.

Plates + Pours

Currently open every day for breakfast and dinner, this sit-down, full-service restaurant serves mountain west cuisine. Local culinary traditions, beautifully rustic presentations, ultra-fresh ingredients and fuss-free sophistication are just some of the reasons you’ll come back day after day. A full bar serving local and global wines, top-shelf spirits, incredible cocktails and craft beers — including Waybound Red Ale, made specially for Waybound by nearby South Gate Brewing Company, located at the south gate of Yosemite National Park — completes the Plates + Pours experience.

Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the General Store is your one stop for everything from freshly prepared grab-and-go meals and snacks to beer, wine and spirits, grocery essentials, branded retail items and a variety of sundries.

Havens offer the freedom to settle in, slow down, and experience Yosemite on your own terms.

Waybound offers a more private stay through its collection of Havens, while still giving guests access to the amenities and experiences of Tenaya at Yosemite. The Havens are set apart from the main resort and centered around shared outdoor spaces, including firepits and a dedicated clubhouse. It’s ideal for travelers who want the freedom of a private retreat with the option to enjoy Tenaya’s dining, spa, activities, and guided Yosemite experiences.

Waybound Yosemite is located just outside the south entrance of Yosemite National Park in Fish Camp, California. Surrounded by the Sierra National Forest and minutes from the park, it places you close to Yosemite’s granite cliffs, waterfalls, and trailheads while offering a peaceful setting to return to after a day of exploration.

Waybound Havens are designed to make it easy to settle in after a day outdoors. Yes. A complimentary shuttle runs between the Waybound campus and Tenaya at Yosemite, making it easy to access dining, the spa, recreation programs, and other resort amenities without needing to drive. The ride is quick and convenient, allowing guests to move seamlessly between the two areas.

Yes. Dogs are welcome at Tenaya and select accommodations are designed with four-legged travelers in mind. With nearby trails, open forest space, and thoughtful pet-friendly touches, it’s easy to explore Yosemite side by side with your dog.

Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. If you arrive early or wish to extend your stay a little longer, our team will do their best to accommodate requests whenever possible.
